

NATUNA is a product line dedicated to tuna. Fished in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, it is immediately slaughtered and preserved at very low temperatures; then it is selected and thawed in Italy and then packaged in a protective atmosphere.
The NATUNA line was born from the desire to offer completely natural products that respect the criteria of responsible fishing.

The products in the NATUNA line comply with the regulations requiring the preventive freezing of fish intended for raw consumption; they are therefore the perfect solution for the preparation of carpaccio, tartare, ceviche, sushi and sashimi, as well as in endless variations of gourmet preparations.

To preserve the quality, color and texture of the tuna, a quick freezing process is used on board vessels at -60°C; the product is then stored at a temperature between -50°C and -60°C.

Freezing at very low temperatures prevents this risk, preserving the original freshness of the tuna intact even after thawing.
Once thawed and packaged in a protective atmosphere, compliance with the cold chain from 0°C to 4°C is of paramount importance.
